Saturday 11th August 2012 - For the third time, Bird's Nest Stadium offered his sold out for the TIM Supercup. An incredible theatre which has been up the expectations. Juventus defeat Napoli 4-2 and wins the first 2012/2013 season trophy, and the fifth Supercup in his history, at the end of an uncertain and balanced match which have provided great emotions.

Playing abroad has been once more lucky for Juventus, which won the TIM Supercup earlier in 2002 (in Tripoli) and in 2003 (in New York). Napoli gave his best until the end after having leading twice, defeated only in the extra time, disputed with only 9 players after the double red card of Pandev and Zuniga in the very last minutes of the regulation time.

Friday 10th August 2012 - Massimo Carrera, called to replace Antonio Conte during the disqualification period, talked during the TIM Supercup eve's press conference: "I've been constantly working with Conte since one year, so it won't be a problem for me to subsitute him, I will try to give the players some advice, but it won't be my own initiative, only the result of the daily work. At the beginning. I will surely be excited, but the guys will let me feel comfortable. Our group is composed of men and this will allow us to go beyond any kind of problem".

Next to him at the press conference, sat Gigi Buffon, who clearly wanted to show the group satisfaction about the today field mates acquittal: "I am happy for Simone and Leonardo, with who I have a friendship relation. The same relation I have with Conte because we also played together.

On the TIM Supercup clash: "We want to achieve our duty, which is to win the cup. We just lost the TIM cup final and loosing a final is never great". 

Thursday 9th August 2012 - Napoli press conference took place this evening at Bird's Nest Stadium. Here is what Mazzarri said:

"Juventus always did well, and in these months bettered an already excellent foundation. The only fact that they did not loose any match during the last championship testifies of the incredible quality of this team. But we are fine, I got excellent signals in these preparation weeks and I hope to see the best Napoli on saturday too. During the friendly matches, we had any problems on free kicks, but during a match it can happen to take goal this way and I think that the defensive phase has ever been excellent and I am satisfied about how the team have been playing. Being here in Beijing trying to win an important trophy means that with are doing well. For us, playing this match let us satisfied and proud. It will surely be a great show facing two teams which provided great entertainement during the whole championship".

"For the lineup I'll need two days more to decide. I need to evaluate any further aspects, the situation will be clear only at the end of the last training. I found Cavani pretty well: he is in great shape and willing to redeem himself of the Olympic Games's elimination. It is an important come-back, and he will surely be able to give the team a big hand". 

Thursday 9th August - Brief tour for Napoli: this morning, along with the sport commitments and hard trainings for preparing the saturday's match against Juventus, Mazzari's team did not miss the opportunity to visit any of the most attractives landmarks of the Chinese's main town.

In the afternoon, Azzurris will enter for the first time the Bird's Nest field, the famous stadium where will be played the saturday's big match. As planned, at 18.30 will took place the Mazzarri's press conference with one of Napoli's football players and after that the team will train behind closed doors.

Wednesday 8th August 2012 - From Beijing, where Juventus is currently training to best prepare the Supercoppa TIM against Napoli, Claudio Marchisio spoke at a press conference:"We need to show we're the strongest in our game against Napoli. We're playing for the first trophy of the season, we're the reigning champions and we want to display that on the pitch. Juventus are always hungry for success.They've developed greatly over the last few years and have made quality purchases. However, we're the reigning champions and they're also aware they'll be facing a tough team who want to continue winning.

About the reception in Beijing by the Chinese's fans? It's a sign of how important Juventus are across the world. We can only thank all our Chinese fans who follow us and wait in the hotel for an autograph or photo."

From his side, Napoli made a social initiative with Behrami twitting on SSC Napoli's official account: "I have great feelings, and above all a huge willing to win the Cup, it could be my first trophy. Why did I choosed to marry Napoli? For the teams quality, for the project and for th big enthusiasm of Napoli's people. Playing for the first time at San Paolo Stadium has been exciting, it is a stadium which delivers great emotions".

Tuesday 7th August 2012 - This morning too at Beijing Capital Airport, the attention has been on Italian football. At 7:55, Walter Mazzarri's Napoli has landed in Beijing  for the Supercoppa TIM 2012 against Juventus, which began yesterday its preparation in China.

The team has been received, between lights and flashs by a group of local fans dressed with the Azzurri colors and after signing the traditional autograph, the players went to the hotel in order to recover from the 10 hours journey. In the afternoon, at 17:00 (at 11:00 in Italy) first test on the training pitch at Worker's Stadium, where the squad of 23 players (missing Dzemaili, remained in Italy for disqualification) will begin the preparation for saturday's final. At the end of the afternoon training, is programmed an autorgaph session for the Chinese fans.

Monday 6th August 2012 - Juventus has landed this morning at 8.30 at Beijing's aeoroport (local time). More than thousand chinese fans came to celebrate and welcome the Italian champions, who have been training only 3 hours after the arrival in order to test the Olympic Sports Centre's field and adapt themselves immediately to the time zone. They had enough time to sleep and recover from travel fatigue, given that after the morning session, Juventus players took the field again for an open media and fans training. In the afternoon, the training has been more demanding, with a training match 11 against 11 and a range of running of 25 and 50 metres.

The Chinese fans welcome was as tradionally folkloristic, dressed with their favorite team jerseys and singing Juventus Stadium's choirs only in Italian.
