Antonio Conte believes a great deal of positives can be taken from the Bianconeri's first outing of the season against Aygreville.
The 42-year-old witnessed Juventus rifle seven past local opposition and is adamant the test will stand his men in good stead.
"It was a useful workout, especially in light of the physical work we did in the morning," he stated shortly after the final whistle in Saint-Vincent. "There's a lot to work on, but we already knew that. I wanted to give the new arrivals a game and was also interested to see how last season's players fared."
Conte took the opportunity to hand first starts to summer signings Alberto Masi, Lucio and Kwadwo Asamoah, as well as casting his eye over a host of Primavera prospects following the interval.
"The new players particularly impressed me," he concluded. "They need to enter into our way of playing and they are doing so with great commitment."
