After the first test against Slavia Praga and the two 45-minute-long mini-games against the amateur clubs Levico Terme and Rappresentativa Memorial Barbieri, the coach Roberto Donadoni takes stock of this first stage: "I would have preferred – explains Parma coach – this first games schedule to be just the reverse. We started against Slavia, an important team, starting the championship already next week. For us, playing a game like this after just one week of training, is always quite risky on a physical level, to be noticed the injuries fortunately minor ones, suffered from Santacroce, Biabiany and Amauri. I'm anyways glad about our progress and about how we are working. Starting from games like today's ones, you can acquire important information. From how you are able to take advantage from an easy opposing team, you can see how far you have got. If you can't do so, then it helps you understand how and on what you have to work. Anyways I can see a big effort from everyone and I had the chance to try the whole players' list. It's alright like this. Tomorrow, it will be a rest day till 8pm, to get rid of the tiredness. So that when we start back our work we'll be maybe able to recover the feeble Zaccardo. I think it won't be the case of Sansone, because his injury will be longer and insidious. He's not feeling any pain, but we will have to wait for his recovery a bit longer. Amauri instead he's only suffering from a light pain at his soleus muscle and if it was for him, after yesterday's game, he would have played today as well. We decided to stop him ourselves just for being cautious. Satisfied so far? "I wanted to take care of timing. We will have to face more and more difficult games. Workloads can often minimize brilliance and mental lucidity. Certain situations are going to be in need of a better management, once we get rid of the fatigue. Then some of the new ones are not uses yet to this kind of training. But, I reassert, in general I can see commitment and willingness from everyone". Talking about strikers, today's noteworthy ones were Palladino and Pelle, but also Belfodil and Pabon are being really impressive…"Belfodil and Pabon are two completely different players, and they complete each other. They are both young with a good growth margin and this is what matters". Apart from that, what does the coach think about his group, for instance about the midfield? "I'd say we are well-provided. Some young players such as Acquah, Chibsah and Ninis were added to characters like Valdes, Musacci, Galloppa, Gobbi, Modesto. Where is the Greek's best position within Parma? "For me – explains the Parma Coach – he can deal with the inner part of the midfield, play just behind the strikers, or do the outsider. According to our present pattern, if the players adapt and can be flexible, they will obviously have more chances to play".
