There are not related, but their roots are the same: Ghana, West Africa, the kingdom of cocoa. They both lead with a K, Kevin Prince Boateng and Kingsley Boateng. But if the youngster is fine with that, for the Serie A champion he has a preference for P as in Prince, which he wants to be called.
Both are league champions, the Prince with the first team and the promising young player with the Allievi although neither are under excessive pressure. The former Portsmouth midfielder will turn 25 next March, while the young man from Liventina Gorghense it not be 18 until April.
The former, born and raised in Berlin, has made progress with his Italian although not fluent just yet, while the latter has lived in Italy since the age of 11 years old and grew up in Friuli, Pordenone, speaking excellent Italian as if he was born there. The Boatengs may not have family ties but they are united as Rossoneri with the hope of a bright future ahead.
