Reinstating the colours taken up at the birth of the club, which was founded in 1927 to defend the name, colours and symbol of the Italian capital, shall take place in two main ways. Once the entire process is completed, it shall involve the entire range of badges, brands and both physical and digital products.
The first step is to restore the traditional colours and this will begin in a few days with the reconstruction of some areas of the training ground, the launch of the new AS Roma Store on Via del Corso and an update of Roma TV's graphics package.
The process will be finished in time for the start of the 2017-18 season. During the 90th anniversary of the foundation of AS Roma, all brands and physical and digital products linked to its visual identity shall adopt Pantone colours regularly used by the city of Rome: Giallo Roma (130C) and Rosso Roma (202C) will replace the tones that are currently part of the club's brand identity, bringing it in line with the Giallorossi charter.
