The first Under-19 title of the season is up for grabs tomorrow, with Inter taking on Torino in the Primavera TIM Supercoppa 2018/2019 at 18:30 CET. The Nerazzurri are competing at the Stadio Breda in Sesto San Giovanni after winning the Primavera 1 TIM 2017/2018 on 9 June 2010, while Torino are present after winning last season’s Primavera TIm Cup 2017/2018.
Aheadof the match, the Nerazzurri's coach Armando Madonna spoke to the press: “We’ve got a good feeling as we’ve picked up some important results recently. We’re coming up against a strong team that has beaten us in Primavera 1 TIM. We must always think about improving and putting in the best performance possible. I’m in charge of a strong side and we believe that we can put in a great display. We didn’t achieve consistency at the start of the season, even over the course of the same match. We’ve improved recently, but we’ve still not reached 100 percent. From a physical point of view, we’re doing really well. However, attention drops at times throughout the course of 90 minutes. We can’t allow this tomorrow. It’s important to have the right attitude and concede as little as possible to our opponents.”
As for the opposition, Madonna added: “Torino are a physical side and very experienced in this division. They have players who are strong on the counter-attack and they can create chances. We’ve prepared really well and my team wants to put in a great performance."
