&lt;p&gt;Serie A Enilive 2024/25 opened with a thrilling first weekend with some suspicions confirmed and new coaches already leaving a mark: Hellas Verona, Lazio and Juventus kicked off their seasons with convincing wins, whilst Gasperini’s Atalanta bagged four against Lecce to go straight to the top of the table. Both Inter and AC Milan were held to draws by Genoa and Torino respectively whilst Conte’s debut in the Napoli dugout was much less pleasant. In the era of three points for a win, this is only the second time that Napoli, AC Milan and Inter have all failed to win on matchday 1, the last time dates back to the start of the 2008/09 campaign.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;On Saturday 17 August at 18:00 CEST, Simone Inzaghi’s &lt;strong&gt;Inter&lt;/strong&gt; struggled to dominate at the Marassi against Gilardino’s &lt;strong&gt;Genoa&lt;/strong&gt;, being held to a &lt;strong&gt;2-2&lt;/strong&gt; draw which interrupted a long run of wins on matchday 1 for the reigning champions who won 12 of their last 13 season openers. The last day-one draw for a side that won the Scudetto the previous year dates back to 9 September 2011, AC Milan 2-2 Lazio.
