Carlo Ancelotti spoke in the post-match press conference following the 2-0 loss against Arsenal, in the UEFA Europa League Quarter-finals first leg.
About the match: “We got our approach wrong tonight. We needed to be a bit bolder. We were too timid at the start and I was really surprised by that. I'd told the lads to stay high up and put more pressure on them but in the first 20 minutes they were much better than us. We were expecting a fiery atmosphere but that's precisely why we needed to go out there more sure of ourselves."
On the second leg: “We're going to have to shake off the fear that gripped us this evening when we play the return leg and having the San Paolo behind us will certainly help. We'll need to produce a massive performance. It's very difficult but not impossible."
