Serie A TIM

Coach Gabriele Cioffi spoke to Udinese TV after the 1-1 draw against Lazio:

"I definitely feel more joy than regret. We performed well but it was a bit imbalanced. We didn't stick to our guns and play the way Udinese have for years while adding to it what we're aiming for; aggressiveness, good football, audacity but not too much. I'm really happy with the lads;\NI have a lot of belief in them. That's a good sign.

"We faced Juve and Atalanta in the space of four days and we were already showing these characteristics. We did slip up against Verona though; we overthought things when the reality is that our traits are clearly defined and you can't go against your own nature. Nahuel Molina hit the bar near the end. Were you almost dreaming of getting a win? Would it have been well-deserved? I was about to run onto the pitch! We were lacking a bit of luck tonight; but maybe we'll have more against Milan.

"Roberto Pereyra is motivated and hungry; he's keen to get back in action. He's an important placer for us because we're a team that seeks to attack space. That's one of his main quality so a player like Tucu will help us achieve that."
