Serie A TIM

* Roma have won each of their last five Serie A matches against Fiorentina and could become the first team to win against Viola in six matches in a row in the competition since AC Milan between 2008/2011 (seven).

* Roma are the team against which Fiorentina have drawn the most Serie A matches (60), while the Giallorossi have won 57 Italian top-flight matches against Viola, only against Torino have they won more (66).

* Roma have only lost one of their last nine away league games at Franchi against Fiorentina (1-0 on 18 September 2016, thanks to Milan Badelj’s goal) - six wins for the Giallorossi and two draws in this time.

* Fiorentina have lost each of their last three Serie A games; the last time they went on a longer such streak in the competition was back in December 2019, under Vincenzo Montella.

* Roma are winless in their last three league matches and could be winless in four games in a row for the first time in Serie A this season – also the Giallorossi could fail to find the net in two consecutive games in the competition for the first time since December 2021 (the first of which came against Bologna).

* Fiorentina are the only team to have not scored in injury time of the second half in the league this season, while Roma are the only side to have not yet conceded any goals in this time.

* Fiorentina (336) and Roma (346) have conceded the fewest total shots in Serie A this season – however, they are 6th (Rome with 40 goals) and 8th (Fiorentina with 47) for goals conceded.

* Krzysztof Piatek has scored two goals in three Serie A matches against Roma, with each of those coming at Olimpico – the Fiorentina forward (29 goals so far) could become the 4th Polish player to score at least 30 goals in the Italian top-flight, after Arkadiusz Milik (38), Piotr Zielinski (35) and Zbigniew Boniek (31).

* Tammy Abraham (15 goals) could record his best goal tally in a single Big five European League season (also 15 in 2019/20 for Chelsea) – another goal would also see him level Gerald Hitchens (16 goals for Inter in 1961/62) as the top-scoring English player in a single Italian top-flight season.

* Jordan Veretout made his debut and played his first 69 Serie A matches for Fiorentina – while he’s scored four goals against the Viola – his joint-most against a single team in the competition (also four against Lazio but in three fewer appearances).
