Coppa Italia Frecciarossa

It is again the eve of the Coppa Italia at the Bortolotti Training Centre in Zingonia: the fixture of the Coppa Italia quarter-finals is scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday 27 January at 17:45 CET at the Gewiss Stadium. Coach Gian Piero Gasperini, therefore, presents the match against Lazio which will be the first of the two fixtures in a few days because the second match of the league against the Biancocelesti of Rome is scheduled for Sunday 31 January: “Lazio have been a key team [in the league] over the last few years. They started with a lot of ambition, they take part in the Champions League. We are trying to make an effort to stay in all the competitions: the first one of two very close matches with the same opponent is scheduled for tomorrow and that’s why it will be very curious. Anyway, we all are going to do our best.”

The Nerazzurri get to this match from the big success, a big win at the San Siro against the team top of the table. “The victory over Milan, undoubtedly, made us very happy because we had been looking forward to that game against the team that had made their best in the first round of the league and we did very well”.
