Fiorentina coach Giuseppe Iachini was pleased after the Viola beat Udinese, and explained how him and his staff worked on improving specific players and how his side deserve more from this start of the season.
ON CASTROVILLI - "We worked hard on making [Castrovilli] improve his finishing. A midfielder with his qualities should do even better."
ON THE NEW PLAYERS - "I want to thank the new players. We played Callejon near the centre forward, as he did at Real Madrid. We know he has significant room for growth and he will do even better. I say 'well done' to Martinez Quarta, in replacing Pezzella, who we hope to have back soon."
ON INJURIES - "The start of the season was difficult, without players like Pezzella, Ribery, Borja Valero and more. Seeing them on the couch instead of the pitch is not nice."
ON THE GAME - "We started strong again today, we scored again, we need to find the defensive strength we had. We are changing a lot behind and we struggle to find a precise set-up. This is what we have been missing so far, plus a bit of good luck. In the standings we deserve to have a few more points."
