Napoli head of operations Alessandro Formisano held a press conference at the team’s Dimaro pre-season training camp on Monday to announce the launch of the Azzurri’s 2019/20 season-ticket campaign on 25 July.
“We wanted to wait for the seat numbering to be complete so that we could put virtually all of the seats at the San Paolo on sale,” said Formisano. “Our concept is: One City, One Club, One Passion. We believe it encapsulates the spirit of our city, whose bond with the team is built on passion and history. Season tickets will cost on average 25% less in every sector than two years ago, with the savings reaching 30% in some sectors. For example, the price of a ticket in the Curva Sud has come down from €350 to €269."
“We have the lowest prices the club has had in the last nine years. It’s a sensational offer when you consider that the San Paolo has been redeveloped not just aesthetically but also structurally, with more comfortable seats installed."
“The club is also announcing today the prices it will apply match-day tickets for the 19 home league games. This step is designed to show that if you buy a season ticket, you will save a good 40% in comparison with individual tickets. For example, Curva season-ticket holders pay an average of €14.15, compared with €24.70 for people who tickets for individual games."
“I believe this is an extraordinary initiative which stems from our desire to have as many fans as possible behind us. Our goals are not strictly numerical but emotive, inspired by the sentiment shared by the fans, the club and the city – we all share the same huge passion.”
"Fans will also be able to transfer their season ticket to another fan for a total of up to five games. All fans must be in possession of a Fidelity Card – available only for €20 – in order to purchase a season ticket and access the ticket transfer system. Over 100,000 Fidelity Cards have already been sold."
"Fans who purchases the mini ticket package last year will have an early-bird ticketing period for 2019/20 season tickets, running until 1 August. New season-ticket holders will have an early-bird ticketing period for UEFA Champions League and Coppa Italia games."
