SSC Napoli Charity Project continues

Following the Charity Food for Napoli project, which distributed over 50 tonnes of food to families in need as a result of the COVID-19 emergency, SSC Napoli is to build on its solidarity work with the SSC Napoli Charity Project.

The initiative is already underway, with two auctions already having taken place with great success. And there is now a third auction open for bidding: an SSC Napoli 2019/20 Away Jersey featuring the All Time Top Scorer patch in honour of Dries Mertens, worn by Elseid Hysaj during the first half of Verona v Napoli. The successful bidder will be sent an SSC Napoli certificate guaranteeing the authenticity of the jersey too.

All proceeds from the auctions will be donated to the non-profit Agan, an association of parents who have grown-up autistic children. Agan is currently working on the “Una Cascina per la Vita” [A Farmstead for Life] project and has teamed up with the Giovanni Campaniello Foundation, which is building a farmstead to provide accommodation to these young adults. The facility will run special activities designed to nurture the ability of the young adults and give them the means to take control of their lives.

The SSC Napoli Charity Project will continue with further online auctions in aid of non-profits striving to have a positive impact on the community. It is hoped that the initiative will provide these organisations with the additional resources they need to improve their activities.

SSC Napoli has chosen to team up with the world’s biggest auction provider, eBay, because they share the club’s belief that these initiatives should ensure as much profit as is possible finds its way to the beneficiaries. The eBay Charity initiative will allow SSC Napoli to donate 100% of proceeds to non-profit organisations, with zero administrative costs.
