&lt;p&gt;After three matches, two teams with maximum points, &lt;strong&gt;Inter &lt;/strong&gt;and &lt;strong&gt;AC Milan&lt;/strong&gt;. Only one, after the derby, will be able to continue this unbeaten campaign and try to break &lt;strong&gt;Roma&lt;/strong&gt;’s record of ten consecutive victories (24 goals scored, only one conceded, Rudi Garcia at the helm), achieved in the first ten matches of the &lt;strong&gt;2013/14&lt;/strong&gt; season, 10 years ago exactly.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;So let’s see how it has gone over the last ten seasons.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;No one even came close to the record last year, as &lt;strong&gt;six &lt;/strong&gt;teams stood at &lt;strong&gt;the top of the league&lt;/strong&gt; (Atalanta, Roma, AC Milan, Lazio, Torino and Napoli), each with 7 points: two victories and a draw. Napoli eventually ran away from the other contenders before the ‘pause’ for the World Cup in November.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The &lt;strong&gt;Napoletans &lt;/strong&gt;were in fact a lot closer to the record in the previous season, 2021/22, that which AC Milan ended up eventual winners of. 24 points won in the first eight matches before a draw in the ninth match against Roma, who defended their record. In that season, after three matches, there were three teams on maximum points: Napoli, Roma and AC Milan.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In &lt;strong&gt;Inter&lt;/strong&gt;’s last Scudetto-winning campaign, it was actually AC Milan and Atalanta who leapt out ahead of their competitors in the first three games. The Rossoneri made it to four consecutive victories before Roma held them to a draw in their fifth match.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Six consecutive victories&lt;/strong&gt; for Inter the year before, their run ended by Juventus on the seventh matchday; the Bianconeri’s victory on that day meant they overtook the Nerazzurri on their way to their ninth Serie A title in a row. In that season, Inter were the only team with a 100% record by the third matchday.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It was &lt;strong&gt;Max Allegri’s team&lt;/strong&gt; that got off to a fast start in the 2018/19 season, being the only team with maximum points after three matches. They continued in this winning fashion until the ninth matchday when they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Genoa. In the 2017/18 season, Napoli and Juventus (together with Inter until the third matchday) continued hand-in-hand on maximum points until the sixth matchday, when the Bianconeri fell short, leaving only the Neapolitans with the chance to break Roma’s record. They failed in their ninth game, drawing 0-0 to Inter.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;After three matches in 2016/17, it was an unlikely pairing of &lt;strong&gt;Genoa &lt;/strong&gt;and &lt;strong&gt;Juventus &lt;/strong&gt;with maximum points, however, both teams were defeated in their fourth game. The previous year, Inter’s attempt at the record ended after five victories in a row.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Finally the 2014/15 season&lt;/strong&gt;: Roma tried to recreate their feat for the second year running, together with Juventus.
