&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Lega Serie A&lt;/strong&gt;&#39;s fight against audiovisual piracy, a criminal phenomenon that in the last year alone has stolen a turnover of €1.7 billion from all Italian economic sectors, continues unabated.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;315 million&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;the overall estimate of piracy acts among the adult population&lt;br&gt; &lt;strong&gt;716 million&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;the potential damage on the Italian economy in terms of GDP&lt;br&gt; &lt;strong&gt;9,400&amp;nbsp;&lt;/strong&gt;the potential estimate of employment at risk&lt;br&gt; &lt;strong&gt;51%&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;the overall incidence among the under-15s&lt;br&gt; (2021 FAPAV/Ipsos survey)&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;Every action of contrast and deterrence is extremely important in facing a dramatic phenomenon that drains resources out of the football system.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;In order to fight the illegal streaming of sports content and raise awareness of the risks involved, on the occasion of the 1st and 2nd Round of the 2022/2023 Serie A, Lega Serie A will promote its&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;#STOPIRACY - PIRACY KILLS FOOTBALL&lt;/strong&gt;&amp;nbsp;campaign, broadcasting the initiative&#39;s video spot on the stadiums&#39; big screens, while a dedicated TV graphic will be broadcast during the coin toss between the two captains on the pitch.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&#34;In Italy, unfortunately, there is still a widespread belief that watching matches by stealing images is a trick and not a crime that damages the football system and the whole country, stealing huge resources and causing the loss of almost 10,000 workplaces. Piracy kills football is not just a slogan, but a serious call to all the consciences of those who love football&#34;&amp;nbsp;said Lega Serie A CEO&amp;nbsp;&lt;strong&gt;Luigi De Siervo&lt;/strong&gt;.&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
