&lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;In what is an especially important year for the city of Milan, AC Milan have decided to dedicate this year’s edition of the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy to the Expo 2015. &lt;strong&gt;AC Milan&lt;/strong&gt; have therefore invited &lt;strong&gt;Inter&lt;/strong&gt; to compete in a special Derby for the 24th edition of the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy and to mark the end of the Expo 2015. &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;It promises to be a unique event for all football fans, not just rossoneri and nerazzurri, providing them with an opportunity to enjoy the thrills and excitement of an all-city derby with an international feel thanks also to the collaboration with the Universal Exposition.  &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;The Luigi Berlusconi Trophy between AC Milan-Inter will be played on the 21st of October at the San Siro and will kick-off at 18.00 local time. The rossoneri’s shirt sponsor for the past five seasons, Emirates, will be sponsoring the Derby in the same week that the company celebrates 30 years of business. What is more, Emirates will hand out the ‘Man of the Match’ award at the end of the fixture. &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;This is what was said at Monday’s joint-press conference:&lt;br /&gt;  &lt;strong&gt;Franco Baresi&lt;/strong&gt;: &#34;I&amp;#39;m happy to be here for the presentation of this year’s edition of the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy. The Derby is always special. I remember that in 1992 we won in front of a packed San Siro. It’s a very important trophy for us. It means a lot to our President and this year it is backed by the Expo 2015. I have experienced a lot of derbies in my time, but this one will be even more special. I hope there will be a big crowd and that the two teams show what they’re capable of. &lt;br /&gt;  This Saturday’s match with Torino is an important chance to restore confidence and get back on track. Sinisa Mihajlovic is an experienced coach. Milan were looking for a new coach and the club believes he has the right characteristics. We have confidence in him and we feel he has all the abilities to do well.&#34; The legendary Milan skipper also added: &#34;This year’s edition of the trophy will be a Derby, just like in 1992. The Berlusconi family attach great importance to the event. The Derby in Serie A was a balanced affair, but we’re only at the start of the season. Milan have changed a lot of players and have a new coach, there is still time to get better and to close the gap to the teams at the top. The match with Torino after the international break is one in which the team have to try and get a positive result. This Milan team has big margins for improvement and some important players. They can do well against Torino and they need to play with confidence. &lt;br /&gt;  Romagnoli is one of the biggest talents in Serie A: he’s young and I believe he has a big future ahead of him. We have several defenders in the squad from Zapata to Mexes, from Alex to Ely. Mihajlovic will decide on the day who deserves to play. Mancini’s Inter have picked up a few more positive results than us, but we are yet to see the best of Inter, and the same applies for Milan. We started this event in 1991 and it was created in memory of Silvio Berlusconi’s father, who played an important role in his passion for football. He took him to the stadium and it was the start of a passion that would see him become the most successful President in football history. &lt;br /&gt;  We’re here at the Expo because it is a very special year for the city of Milan, which has changed a lot in the past 5 years. There has been a rebirth after the crisis with new building works, area redevelopment and restored confidence. With this in mind, we decided to present the 24th edition of the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy here. However, it wouldn’t be a match representative of the city without our ‘cousins’. We’re also in talks together to arrange other matches in other parts of the world. The two teams are also offering a special price list for the event so everyone can have the chance to be a part of this great spectacle. It will mark the second time we face Inter in the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy after meeting for the second edition.&#34; &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;Representing Inter at the press conference were the following: &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Francesco Toldo&lt;/strong&gt;: &#34;It’s a real pleasure for Inter to be a part of the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy. The derby is always special and the fans will respond well. There is a lot of enthusiasm amongst the Inter fans because the team is being rebuilt and I think Milan may regret inviting Inter… joking aside, we’re looking forward to the match at the San Siro for this year’s edition which is supported by Expo. &lt;br /&gt;  Great players can become great coaches. Both Mancini and Mihajlovic are two important football figures that have great knowledge of the game.&#34; &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Michael Gandler&lt;/strong&gt; (Inter Commercial Director): &#34;I thank everyone, especially Milan who have invited us to be a part of this prestigious event. It’s been over 20 years since we last met in the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy and it’s even more important this year. It’s a unique experience for us and this city has a unique feel about it at the moment. It’s a special moment in which the fans of the two clubs will also have the chance to enjoy the spectacle through discounted ticket prices and offers.&#34; &lt;/p&gt;    &lt;p style=&#34;text-align:justify&#34;&gt;Finally, the Expo 2015 Institutional Relations Director&lt;strong&gt; Roberto Arditti&lt;/strong&gt; said the following: &#34;To have a better understanding of everything, it’s always worthwhile remembering the history. What links our exposition and the two clubs is very subtle. In between the foundations of the two clubs, in 1906, there was the first ever world exhibition organised in Milan. It all happened in that historic period because the city of Milan was starting to become the country’s crown jewel. We’re here today to honour the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy at an exhibition that promotes the city of Milan and the future. In what is an especially important year for the city of Milan, AC Milan have decided to dedicate this year’s edition of the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy to the Expo 2015. AC Milan have therefore invited Inter to compete in a special Derby for the 24th edition of the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy and to mark the end of the Expo 2015. 

It promises to be a unique event for all football fans, not just rossoneri and nerazzurri, providing them with an opportunity to enjoy the thrills and excitement of an all-city derby with an international feel thanks also to the collaboration with the Universal Exposition.  

The Luigi Berlusconi Trophy between AC Milan-Inter will be played on the 21st of October at the San Siro and will kick-off at 18.00 local time. The rossoneri’s shirt sponsor for the past five seasons, Emirates, will be sponsoring the Derby in the same week that the company celebrates 30 years of business.
