I’ve adjusted to the higher quality but now comes the hard part because I need to cement my spot and perform consistently at this level. I’ve improved in the mental aspect but also technically thanks to the coach.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Speaking of Maurizio Sarri, he’s been very important for you. How much is he changing the way you play?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I played as a&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;trequartista&amp;nbsp;&lt;/em&gt;at Hellas, but now I’m playing out wide. Sarri told me as soon as I arrived that he saw me as a left winger. Although I played more centrally before, I like this position; it suits me even if I still need to improve. Sarri always asks me to get in behind and look to put the ball in and around the far post.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;The Coach has also asked more from you in terms of goals…&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Yes, during pre-season he even said that I’d hit double figures this season and I want to do that! I’m trying to get there as soon as possible.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;You’re one of the most fouled players in Serie A TIM…&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I draw a lot of fouls but that’s not just been the case this season, but in the past too. I think that my style of play, the fact that I am direct and fast, makes defenders commit the foul. I like tigers; they have the characteristics that I want to show when I’m on the pitch. The archer celebration when I score started by accident when I was at Verona but I never planned to keep it as my celebration. But the goal with that celebration was shown during my presentation at Lazio and, since then, I’ve kept on doing it.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;We now see a lot of kids copying the celebration…&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It’s an honour for me that the fans view me as a key player in the team. I always just try to give my all and I’m gradually reaping the rewards of my hard work.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;What do you need to take that next step?&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We’ve played well against the big sides but maybe lacked a little something against the others. The big games mean more and we find more motivation.
