&lt;p&gt;With the new season now officially under way, the Serie A Enilive clubs are starting to make their first moves in the transfer market. Juventus, in particular, are leading the way and are very active in bulkening up Thiago Motta`s squad ahead of the the summer preparations. After the &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.legaseriea.it/en/media/serie-a/douglas-luiz-is-juventus-first-reinforcement-712e127&#34; data-new-window=&#34;true&#34; target=&#34;_blank&#34; rel=&#34;noopener noreferrer&#34;&gt;signing of Douglas Luiz&lt;/a&gt;, Sporting Director Giuntoli has also tied up a deal with OGC Nice’s Khéphren Thuram, with the aim of strengthening the Juventus midfield. A choice in line with the previous one: young talents with great experience in the role and with an international feel.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Khéphren comes to the Continassa with a heavy surname on his shoulders: he is in fact the brother of the Inter striker, Marcus, and the son of &lt;strong&gt;Lilian Thuram&lt;/strong&gt;. His father is a legend of Italian football, having worn the shirts of Parma and Juventus for many years, and of French football, given that with &lt;em&gt;Le Bleus&lt;/em&gt; he became a World Cup winner in the 1998 World Cup in France. Lilian arrived in Emilia in the summer of 1996 and had five seasons with the Gialloblu, winning one Coppa Italia, one Supercoppa Italiana and a UEFA Cup. In 2001, he moved to Juventus where he remained for another five years, winning two Scudetto league titles and two more Supercoppa Italiana cups. In total, he made 307 appearances and scored two goals in Serie A.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;During Lilian`s stay in Italy, his two sons were born: &lt;strong&gt;Marcus&lt;/strong&gt;, born in Parma in 1997, and Khéphren, born in Reggio Emilia in 2001. The first to take over from his father was his eldest son who, at the beginning of last season, was purchased by Inter from Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Rossoneri coach, his father`s former teammate &lt;strong&gt;Patrick Viera&lt;/strong&gt;, used him sparingly in the first few months, but halfway through the season began to focus on the boy, placing him at the centre of the &lt;em&gt;Les Aglions’&lt;/em&gt; striking department. From then on, Thuram`s son became a mainstay in the French Riviera.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;With &lt;strong&gt;Galtier&lt;/strong&gt; in charge of OGS Nice in the 21/22 season, Khéphren had his best year, with four goals and three assists, while the team finished fifth in &lt;strong&gt;Ligue 1&lt;/strong&gt;. In the 22/23 season, he gained European experience by participating in the &lt;strong&gt;Conference League&lt;/strong&gt; and reaching the quarter-finals of the competition. He was also named in the top XI team of the league. Last year, under the guidance of Francesco &lt;strong&gt;Farioli&lt;/strong&gt;, OGC Nice had a great first half of the season, but dropped off in the second part, eventually finishing in fifth place. In the Tuscan coach`s system, Khéphren was regularly deployed in a midfield two, a position suited to his characteristics as a technical and dynamic forward.
