Lega Serie A is a reference point for millions of football fans and supporters worldwide. It can play a crucial role in disseminating and accelerating actions aimed at making the football system sustainable and transferring this model to other societal realms, also becoming a promoter of positive change. Football can be a fundamental guardian of rights and, at the same time, a driver of social innovations, while fighting against discrimination and promoting a more sustainable future. However, assuming this role means primarily aiming to become sustainable internally. Therefore, the strategy of social and environmental responsibility is at the forefront of the priorities and objectives that Lega Serie A aims to achieve. This intention has led the leadership to embark on the ambitious path that resulted in Lega Serie A becoming the UEFA Pilot League through the publication of its 2030 CSR – Football Social Responsibility Strategy.

Lega Serie A, in collaboration with UNAR, takes the field against racism to ensure equal treatment and the protection of human rights in football. Now in its third edition, “Keep Racism Out“ is the anti-discrimination campaign that aims to involve all the protagonists of our sport: from players to coaches, from referees to club managers, from fans to enthusiasts. A series of initiatives in support of the campaign are being carried out on all Serie A pitches and on Lega Serie A social networks, thanks to the support and participation of the 20 associated clubs.

The values of parish football under the spotlights of big football events: Junior TIM Cup (now in its 10th edition) fuels the dreams of youngsters with a youth 7-a-side soccer tournament reserved for under-14 teams from oratories in cities where Serie A TIM is played. The project in collaboration with TIM and the CSI (Centro Sportivo Italiano) engages kids from oratories in educational activities aimed at combating racism and transmitting values such as integration and inclusion.
