Serie A is a reference point for millions of fans and enthusiasts around the world and it can be an important accelerator of actions to make football more sustainable and transfer this model to other areas of society, becoming a promoter of positive changes. Football can be a key preserver of rights and, at the same time, a driver of social innovations, to fight against discrimination and to kick-start a more sustainable future. Playing this role, however, means first and foremost aiming to become sustainable internally. The strategy of social and environmental responsibility is therefore at the heart of the priorities and goals that Lega Serie A wants to achieve. This drive has prompted top management to embark on the ambitious path that will lead Serie A to become a Pilot League of the UEFA 2030 "Strength Through Unity" strategy.
KEEP OUT RACISM
Lega Serie A, in collaboration with UNAR, takes the field against racism to ensure equal treatment and the protection of human rights in football. Now in its third edition, “Keep Racism Out“ is the anti-discrimination campaign that aims to involve all the protagonists of our sport: from players to coaches, from referees to club managers, from fans to enthusiasts. A series of initiatives in support of the campaign are being carried out on all Serie A pitches and on Lega Serie A social networks, thanks to the support and participation of the 20 associated clubs.
